Surprisingly, a large number of chronic patients are non compliant. For one reason or another treatments are not being used as directed. It is extremely difficult for physician offices to monitor how or when a patient is taking their medication.

It is most interesting to note that the highest reason for noncompliance is: “SOMETIMES FORGET TO USE OR REFILL”, closely followed by: “DONT WANT SIDE EFFECTS”
